Don’t Waste Postage Mailing to Closed Payment P.O. Box Locations in Georgia and Missouri

As of Jan. 1, payments mailed to closed IRS payment P.O. Boxes or Lockboxes in the Atlanta and St. Louis areas are no longer being forwarded to the correct new location. Instead they are being returned to the sender. Go to Where to File on IRS.gov for current payment addresses.
